What is iflex

Instead of connecting a classic actuator to some kind of control system by wires and relays, iFLEX offers actuator solutions with integrated intelligent communication. iFLEX solutions are more cost-effective compared to traditional actuator solutions. This is due to the simple fact that no additional cable installation and alignment is necessary.

High Control

BUS electronics ensure high control of the actuator’s positioning and speed. Through a configuration tool, it is possible to set the speed, the stroke and the current limit of the actuator. This feature also makes service maintenance easier.

Imagine...
...if LINAK could reduce your maintenance costs by 50%?

The integrated BUS control unit provides a diagnostics tool that will help technicians in troubleshooting as well as preventive maintenance. With a service interface, it is possible to reduce operating costs. Through a data readout function, service and improved maintenance planning can be achieved.

This function also provides performance information about the state of the actuator including temperature, hours of operation, current consumption, lost position, overload etc.

Intelligent Actuators

At present, LINAK TECHLINE offers the following actuators with built-in intelligence:

LA12
The LA12 actuator is characterised by its robust design allowing the actuator to be used in harsh conditions. The LA12 is designed to meet the challenge, based on the philosophy that it must be able to operate under extreme conditions.

The actuator is ideal for mobile “off-highway” equipment such as Agricultural Machinery, Outdoor Power Equipment and Construction & Machinery.

  • Max. thrust: 750 N
  • Max. speed: 40 mm/s

LA23
The LA23 actuator is a small and strong push or pull actuator. The LA23 can be used in various applications where size is important. The LA23 offers you a compact design, a high lifting force and exchangeable cables.
  • Max. thrust: 2,500 N
  • Max speed: 9.4 mm/s

LA35
The LA35 actuator is characterised by its robust design allowing the actuator to be used in harsh conditions. The LA35 is designed to operate under extreme conditions. The actuator is ideal for mobile “off-highway” equipment such as Agricultural Machinery, Forestry and Construction Machinery.

Furthermore, the LA35 actuator is a very quiet and powerful actuator designed for a variety of applications both indoor and outdoor.
  • Max. Thrust: 6,000 N in push application
  • Max. Thrust: 4,000 N in pull application
  • Max. Speed: 19 mm/s

LA36
The LA36 actuator is ideal for use in harsh conditions. It is our most solid actuator based on the philosophy that it must be able to operate under extreme conditions. The actuator is ideal for mobile “off-highway” equipment such as agricultural, forestry and construction machinery.
  • Max. Thrust: 10,000 N
  • Max. Speed: 160 mm/s

LA37
The LA37 actuator is for when the going gets tough. It is a solid actuator equipped with heavy-duty aluminium housing for harsh conditions. It has a speed of up to 2.5 mm/sec., integrated brake, high self-locking ability and it has been IP66 tested.

The strength of the LA37 and the long lifetime of up to 20 years make this actuator ideal for tough applications. Furthermore, LINAK grants a 5-year warranty on the LA37 actuator.
  • Max thrust: 7,500 N – 1,600 N
  • Max. Speed: 2.5 mm/sec.
