The HB20 series is a handset family especially developed for the comfort furniture segment. The handset series is compatible with the
TWINDRIVE® TD1, TD2 and TD3 series.
The HB20 series combines ergonomic design with a wide range of functionalities such as memory, radio frequency based (RF) communication, control for massage, switch light on and off, a child lock function and many more.
- The bed does not work at all

Check:
Is the mains connected to the TWINDRIVE TD1?
Try/Solution:
Try to connect a lamp or similar to the mains supply to check that the supply voltage is OK.

Are all plugs mounted correctly in the TWINDRIVE TD1?

Are there any visible damages on cables?
Try/Solution:
Damaged parts must be exchanged – contact the company where you bougth your bed.
- The handset needs to be set up to the TWINDRIVE TD1 280 (memory) underneath the bed. Follow the instruction shown in the video or in the text below.

How to set up RF handsets
1. Activate the reset key on the RFR box attached on the TD1
2. Keep the reset key activated while pressing a random button on the handset
3. If there are more handsets, keep the reset key activated and press a random button on the other handset

- The actuator adjusting the neck function needs to be initialized. Follow the instruction shown in the video or in the text below.
How to initialise the system:
- Drive the LA27 to the outer position (without interruption until it stops)
- Release the button
- Drive the LA27 to the inner position (without interruption until it stops)
- Release the button
The system has now been initialised.

By using the cable relief you avoid that the cable plug is pulled out of the
TD1 which may lead to a malfunction or damage the plug.

Check all connections. Use the cable relief on the TD3 to assure that the cable does not fall out. Follow the instruction shown in the video or in the text below.
By using the cable relief you avoid that the mains cable plug is pulled out of the TD3 and a malfunction occurs.

- The handset needs to be set up to the TWINDRIVE TD3 underneath the bed. Follow the instruction shown in the video or in the text below.
How to set up RF handsets:
- Activate the reset key on the TD3. The bed drives to a flat position. Keep the key pressed until the motor stops completely
- Release the reset key
- Reactivate the reset key on the TD3
- Keep the reset key activated while pressing a random button on the handset
- If there are more handsets, keep the reset key activated and press a random button on the other handset
Your bed is now ready for use.

- The actuator adjusting the neck function needs to be initialised. Follow the instruction shown in the video or in the text below.
How to initialise the system:
- Push the down button of the actuator
- Drive the actuator until it has reached the inner position and stops completely
- Release the key on the handset
- Reactivate the down key of the actuator and keep it activated for approx. 5 sec.
- You can now drive the actuator outwards
The system has now been initialised.
